Policies
Everything you need to know before booking — from appointments and deposits to preparation, aftercare, and cancellations. These policies help ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable tattoo experience for everyone.
What to Know
Getting a tattoo is an investment of both time and energy, and I want the process to feel smooth, respectful, and fair for everyone involved. My policies are here to protect your time as well as mine, and to make sure I can give each client the care and attention their piece deserves. Please take a moment to read through them before booking—clear communication and mutual respect go a long way in making this a positive experience for us both.
-
Cancellations automatically forfeit the deposit, no exceptions. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged the full cost of the service.
-
I understand that life events come up. All I ask is that you are honest with me. In the event that you cannot make your appointment and need to reschedule, all deposits have a one-time transfer as long as I am notified at least 72 hours in advance. After one transfer, or if I’m not notified after the 72 hour window, a new deposit will be required and the original forfeited.
In the event that you must reschedule, please note that I am unable to schedule in front of other waiting clients. I will do my best to get you back in as soon as I can, but no specific time frame is guaranteed. -
This is a firm policy. No Show appointments will be charged the full cost of the booked appointment and will be restricted from booking future appointments.
-
DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Deposits will be applied towards the final cost of your tattoo at your final session unless your deposit is forfeited.
A non-refundable deposit is required to book an appointment. This is based on the size of the tattoo, with a minimum of $150 (1 hour rate, exception below) and is put towards the cost of the tattoo.
Deposits are forfeited if you:No-show for an appointment
Cancel with less than 72 hours advance notice
Reschedule more than twice
Arrive for an appointment more than 30 minutes late
Arrive for an appointment without proper ID
Arrive intoxicated or otherwise unable to be tattooed
Request excessive or last minute changes to the design or concept
Do not complete your tattoo within one year, or decide not to get tattooed at all
If you forfeit a deposit, you may be required to leave a new deposit before booking any new appointment(s). Deposits may not be transferred to another person or for use with a different tattooer.
I ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 72 hours before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee. -
I offer one free touch-up within one year of your completed tattoo. This allows time for your piece to fully heal and settle, so we can make sure it looks its best long-term.
This policy does not apply to tattoos on the hands, fingers, or feet, as these areas are more prone to fading and often require more frequent maintenance.
Touch-ups must be scheduled within that one-year period to be eligible. If the need for a touch-up is due to improper aftercare—like picking, overexposure to the sun, or soaking—there will be a fee determined by the amount of work required, the base fee being $30.
Every case is evaluated individually, and I’m always happy to talk through it with you. My goal is to make sure your tattoo stays looking amazing for years to come.
Touch-Ups for Hands, Fingers, and Feet
Tattoos on hands, fingers, and feet are more prone to fading and may require additional touch-ups. For these areas, a setup fee of $30 per touch-up session will apply. This fee must be paid before the time of your touch-up appointment or your appointment will be cancelled.
Appointment Scheduling
Touch-up appointments are available on Fridays only. To schedule a touch-up, please contact me in advance to book your appointment. I recommend scheduling as soon as possible to ensure availability.
No-Show Policy
If you no-show a scheduled free touch-up appointment, you forfeit your eligibility for the free touch-up. To avoid this, please ensure that you attend your scheduled appointment or contact me at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.
Important Notes:Healing Period: Please allow your tattoo to fully heal (usually 4-6 weeks) before scheduling a touch-up.
Proper Aftercare: Proper aftercare is crucial for the healing process. Please follow the aftercare instructions provided to you at the time of your tattoo to minimize the need for touch-ups.
Communication: If you experience any issues with your tattoo or have any concerns, please contact me immediately.
Thank you for trusting me. I'm committed to the longevity of your tattoo.
If you have any questions about my touch-up policy or need to schedule an appointment, please don't hesitate to reach out. -
I work best when I can follow my intuition and connect with the energy you bring to each session. With a bit of simple direction, I’m able to create something that reflects your essence in a way that’s truly one-of-a-kind. If you're open to this collaborative approach, we can make something meaningful together. If you prefer to guide every detail, I might not be the right fit for your vision.
-
I don’t send sketches or designs in advance. Your booking request and/or consultation gives me everything I need to begin crafting your custom piece. If I need more clarity, I’ll reach out. You’ll see your design at the start of our appointment, and I always build in time to tweak and refine it together.
Sharing designs ahead of time often invites second-guessing, outside opinions, and unnecessary stress. This is your tattoo—my job is to help you feel confident and connected to it, not overwhelmed by feedback from people who won’t be wearing it forever. -
Item Design changes happen—and that’s totally okay. Minor tweaks like adding a few flowers or a bit of script can usually be handled without a problem, even on the day of your appointment.
However, if you request a major change (think: switching from a realistic half-sleeve elephant with geometric elements to a full back piece featuring a traditional Japanese tiger and koi fish), that’s considered a total redesign.
If a total redesign request is made within 72 hours of your appointment, you’ll forfeit your deposit.
If it’s made within 48 hours, you’ll forfeit your deposit and need to reschedule to give me enough time to do your new idea justice—especially for larger pieces.
This policy helps protect my time and ensures every design gets the attention it deserves. Thanks for understanding! -
Illness happens—we get it. If you're feeling unwell, please do not come to your appointment. Let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule.
If you show up sick, you’ll be sent home and your deposit will be forfeited.
This is for everyone’s safety—mine, yours, and every other client who comes through the studio.
Thanks for respecting the space and keeping our community healthy.
